before puberty, then gradually seek legal sciences, as Imam Al-Nawawi - may God
have mercy on him – mentioned in his book (Introduction to Al-Majmoo’ Sharh
Al-Muhadhab) that learning the Holy Qur’an fastly is the most important science, and
the first thing to begin with. ; It was the ancestor- May God have mercy on
them - they do not teach jurisprudence and hadith except to those who memorize
the Holy Qur’an, and it was reported from the Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah -
may God have mercy on him - that he said in the major fatwas:
“As
for the request to memorize the Qur’an, it takes precedence over many of what
people call knowledge, and it is either false or of little use, It is also a
priority in learning for those who want to learn the science of religion from
the fundamentals and the branches, because the project in the right of such a person at these times is to start with memorizing the Qur’an, for it is the
origin of the sciences of religion.” [6]

him - was to memorize the Noble Qur’an, understand its meanings, and act upon
it; Therefore, it is necessary for the nation to renew its faith by realizing
the importance of the Holy Qur’an, adhering to its commands and avoiding what
it forbids. Because the legislation contained in it is wise divine directives.

of God and wanted it). [9] [10]
Obtaining Guidance:
Memorizing
the Noble Qur’an, adhering to it, and implementing its legislation are among
the causes of stability and keeping away from the turmoil in this worldly life. For
the words of God Almighty:
(God
promised you who believe and do good deeds Astkhalafnhm in the earth as Normans
those before them and Mechanized them their religion which embraced them and
Abdlnhm of fear after safer worship Me not associating me something), [11]
In
addition to that God Almighty The Hafez of the Noble Qur’an, who is committed
to what it says, promised guidance in this world, and no misery in the
Hereafter, as He - the Highest - also said:
(Pain
* This book is absolutely guidance for the pious * who believe in the unseen,
and prayer, and provided them spend * and who believe in what was revealed to
you and what was revealed before you and the Hereafter are certain of those *
on guidance from their Lord, and those who will prosper) . [12] [13]

Among
the fruits of memorizing the Noble Qur’an in the breasts are: getting closer to
God - the Highest - and obtaining His approval, winning Paradise, arming
himself with His verses in the face of Satan, controlling the whims of the
soul, in addition to straightening the tongue, achieving eloquence in the
Arabic language and memorizing the Holy Qur’an from distortion and loss, and
facilitating the recitation of its verses in every place and time, such as
reading the Qur’an while working and earning; Preoccupation with worldly
matters do not hinder the memorizer of the Noble Qur’an from reading, unlike
those who want to read directly from the Qur’an. [14]
Etiquette
of Hafiz Al-Quran
It is advisable for the memorizer and bearer of
the Noble Qur’an to display a number of etiquettes that befit him. Some of them
are explained below:
Piety:
The
one who adorns his heart by memorizing the words of God - the Highest - must
complete what he has attained of dignity; This outward appearances to fear God
in secret and in public, is intended to read out Neil satisfaction of God
Almighty and the proximity of it was narrated from ' Umar ibn al - Khattab
may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "We've come and what we see when
no one wants to learn the Koran With it except God - the Almighty - so when he
was here in the Hereafter, I feared that men were learning it, wanting the
people and what they have, so they wanted God with your reading and your deeds.
[15]
Sincerity:
The
Muslim must be sincere in his intention to God - the Highest - in all actions
and acts of worship. God Almighty says:
(Say
that I have been commanded to worship God sincerely to Him), [16]
and
that is with their sincere intention while memorizing the Holy Qur’an more than
others Because they communicate the eternal message of God - the Highest - and
they should not wait for reward or recompense from people for their
memorization, especially since God - the Highest - has threatened those who
memorize the Noble Qur’an to show people off, out of the love of reputation and
fame; When Imam Muslim narrated it in his Sahih on the authority of Abu
Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - on the authority of the Messenger of
God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - that he said
(The
first people spend the Day of Resurrection him a man to learn science, and his
knowledge and read the Koran, and brought him Varafh Nima Varafha, he said:
What worked? He said: I learned science, and taught him and read you the Koran,
he said: lied, but you learned science to say: the world, and read The Qur’an
to be said: He is a reciter). [17] [18]
Do not forget to memorize and adhere to it:
The
memorizer of the Noble Qur’an must continue to recite its verses, and review
them periodically; So that memorization does not slip away and be lost,
especially since the Holy Qur’an is quick to escape from memory; As reported
from Abu Musa al - Ash'ari may Allah be pleased with him from the Messenger of
Allah, peace be upon him, he said:
(Qur'an
committing themselves, Whose hand is my soul more fun Tvsaa camels in her
mind). [19] [20]
Purity:
Despite
the importance of the purity of the heart and soul, it is not enough; Rather,
the memorizer of the Noble Qur’an must also maintain external purity; It should
be purified from the impurity, but in regard to women, it must be Mttehrh of
menstruation and mortality, and also, mustahabb to cleanse oneself of the
smallest event ablutions, and maybe read the Koran and save it from the non -
light; Because there is no evidence that requires this, and because of the weak
hadiths that require ablution before touching the Qur’an, and the scholars have
gone to the permissibility of a woman learning and memorizing the Holy Qur’an
while she is menstruating or in postpartum bleeding; of necessity. [21]
Tajweed:
It is
recommended for those who want to recite the Noble Qur’an, observing the
provisions of intonation, and the scholars have defined Tajweed as establishing
letters and knowing standing. And not to read quickly in a way that changes the
characteristics of the letters; So the seine becomes a sound, and the taa becomes
a sound, and in order to master the rules of intonation, it is necessary to
practice it at the hands of a proficient sheik. [22]
Humility:
Among
the most important morals that a memorizer of the Noble Qur’an should possess
is humility for the righteous, and leniency for Muslims. It is not permissible
for him to be superior to someone who is less than him, nor to someone who is
in need or who is sick, but the wing must be lowered for them, and praise is to
God for his blessings. [23]
Presence
of the heart and reverence when reciting the Noble Qur’an:
The
memorizer of the Noble Qur’an should glorify the words of his Lord - the Mighty
and Sublime, and reverence when reciting it, and avoid self-talk. If one of
them read the surah, and his heart was not present in it, he would repeat it
again. [24]
Contemplation
of the verses of the Noble Qur’an:
The
purpose of reciting the verses of the Noble Qur’an lies in acting on what was
mentioned in them and contemplating their meanings. It was reported on the
authority of Ali bin Abi Talib - may God be pleased with him – that he said
about the importance of contemplation: In reading that you don't think
about." [24]
The
status and characteristics of the Noble Qur’an
The
status of the Qur'an
God -
the Highest - revealed the Noble Qur’an to the heart of his Prophet Muhammad -
may God’s prayers and peace be upon him -; To be mercy and guidance to
people; For saying the Almighty:
(this
Qur'an guides to that which is me and promises to the believers who do good
deeds that they have a great reward) ; [25]
As
the Holy Qur’an included the Islamic Sharia, which is a complete and a comprehensive way of life that organizes people’s lives, and it is worth noting
that God - the Highest - established the ultimate argument against all people
with the Holy Qur’an; So he made it an eternal miracle with which he supported
his Messenger Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and God
Almighty challenged the worlds to come up with something like it, so the
eloquent people stood helpless in front of the rhetorical miracle of the Holy
Qur’an; He, the Highest, said:
(Say
met while mankind and the jinn to produce such a Koran does not come in kind,
even if some of them for some helpers), [26]
which demonstrated their
inability, it is not the words of human beings, but the word of God Almighty,
which seal his heavenly books, [8]
Characteristics
of the Qur'an
Among
the most important characteristics of the Noble Qur’an: the smoothness of
style, and the ease of memorizing its words; So it came in the words of God -
the Highest -:
(And
We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who
will remember), [27]
Sheikh
Abd al-Rahman al-Saadi explained the noble verse that God, the Highest, for the
words, the knowledge, and the vocabulary of the Holy Qur’an, and for its
singularities. The truest words in meaning, the best in pronunciation, and the
clearest in interpretation. [6]
